2022 Fall Dance Concert

The Fall Dance Concert is one of the biggest shows of the year for the UNC Charlotte Department of Dance. I was lucky enough to work under costume designer Rachel Engstrom on the Costume Lab Crew to help make the gorgeous costumes our dances performed in. There were five dances "Crown" choreographed by Rosangela Silvestre in collaboration with dancers, "Tonight Again, The Wind Brushes the Stars" by Kim Jones, "Diamond Desert" by Audrey Baran, "Iya Axé" by Tamara Williams, and "Under the Umbrellas" El Huracán" by Arelys Duran Llorens. They were all moving and beautiful pieces of art, but I only worked on the final two. I helped with the work on the headpieces worn in "Iya Axé" and the skirts worn in "Under the Umbrellas" El Huracán".
